The full renovation of this 80's house has faced us with the challenge of providing more light as initially it was dark with hardly any natural light. We have overcome this problem by opining the house to the garden and bringing in the sea views.
An important point to consider is the combination of the polished concrete flooring, the whiteness of the walls and details of Mallorcan dry stone finishings both inside and outside, creating a stunning blend of materials.
Another detail of this project has been to cast a nostalgic glance at past Mallorcan building traditions and to pay them homeage by using, for example, cement hydraulic tiles in the kitchen.
